Bax Kegans from Gulf South Men took the lead in creating a new, interactive Christmas Tradition for his church. Inspired by Mike Young, Executive Director of Noble Warriors in Virginia, Bax organized a “Manger Build” where dads & children construct a real manger.

The family and community activity is much more than just the construction of the manger however! Afterwards the manger serves as a center piece in their home for nightly Family Christmas Devotions! This new family activity serves to teach the entire family of the real meaning for Christmas.

Mark Hunter, reporter for the Baton Rouge Advocate, wrote a great story detailing how this was done. Click on this link HERE to open an online story about the great success of this new tradition!
